Guise Park is a small park located near Munroe Falls Historical Society, City Hall and Fire Department. It has a playground, lodge and large open play area where residents can enjoy a picnic or a game of tennis. This location is perfect for anyone with young children or pets.

It was a big day in Munroe Falls July 17 when the Guise Park Lodge hosted its first-ever ice cream truck, an inflatable obstacle course and live music. The park’s reopening came after months of renovations, and residents were thrilled to see their favorite building back in action. The event was also an opportunity to learn more about the future of Guise Park. A new meeting hall is currently being considered for the property, but it’s unclear whether it will be built and at what cost. The new facility would include a 200-person meeting hall, kitchen, meeting room, office, storage and restrooms along with 77 spaces in a parking lot, drop off area and access drive that would take up most of the green space at Guise Park.

Amenities

Guise Park provides a number of amenities to residents and visitors. The park includes a playground and swing set, as well as refurbished tennis and basketball courts. It also has a Lodge that can be rented for parties and meetings.

The city has a lot of activities and events that occur throughout the year for both residents and visitors. These include the Stow-Munroe Falls Community Showcase, Pride in Stow Festival, July 4th Parade and Summer Sunset Blast. Other events include ice cream socials and a farmers’ market at Brust Park during the summer.

Nonprofit groups, including churches and organizations, have not been charged for rental of the Guise Park Lodge. However, to cover extra cleaning and staff, the city is now charging a $25 fee for Mondays through Thursdays, $100 for Fridays through Sundays and $175 for holidays.
